Mercury is a chemical element with symbol Hg and atomic number 80. It is commonly known as quicksilver and was formerly named hydrargyrum. A heavy, silvery d-block element, mercury is the only metallic element that is liquid at standard conditions for temperature and pressure; the only other element that is liquid under these conditions is bromine, though metals such as caesium, gallium, and rubidium melt just above room temperature.

Shower gel (also shower cream or body wash) is a liquid product used for cleaning the body. Shower gel is an emulsion of water and detergent base, usually with added fragrance, used as a skin cleansing agent in the shower or bath.

Ethylene is obtained by pyrolysis of natural gas or from naphtha by cracking. Ethylene isan unsaturated hydrocarbon and has a carbon-carbon double bond. Therefore, ethylene isvery reactive and can be converted to a variety of petrochemicals and useful end products.
